The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have engaged in a war of words over the education system in states ruled by the respective parties.

BJP’s Gujarat Unit and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia took to Twitter and compared Gujarat and Delhi’s education system.

In a series of tweets, the Gujarat BJP unit criticized the education policies of the Delhi government led by Arvind Kejriwal and said Arvind Kejriwal’s education system had failed.

Responding to tweets posted by the BJP, Manish Sisodia dared Gujarat Education Minister Jitu Vaghani to participate in an open debate. “BJP is very scared of AAP now. They are questioning Delhi education and Kejriwal model of education. I issue an open debate challenge to Gujarat Education Minister Jitu Vaghani,” tweeted Sisodia.

Meanwhile, the Congress, while praising the education system in the party-ruled states, said the education system has been improving in Chhattisgarh since the party formed a government in the state.

“From free education to modernization of schools, changes in the education system are underway in Chhattisgarh,” the Congress party tweeted.
