Federal Ministry of Education takes steps to improve education standards

The Ministry of Education and Vocational Training under Federal Minister of Education Rana Tanveer Hussain was taking many steps to improve the literacy rate in ICT schools and education standards in the country.

According to the Federal Ministry of Education and Vocational Training on Saturday, the Federal Minister of Education ordered students to be returned from China in the middle of their studies after the Covid-19 outbreak about two years ago. , since then, they have not been able to join their educational institutions in China due to some problems.

The Minister reiterated that education is the highest priority of the current government and assured the students that their problems would be resolved immediately and that they would be assisted in any way possible.

The Minister of Education, while considering the importance of the uniform curriculum, agreed to convene a National Curriculum Summit, in which all stakeholders and curriculum experts across the country from the public/private sector would attend to give their views for further discussion and consensus on the issue. . The entire program required a paradigm shift from learning based on memorization to learning based on critical thinking and group learning.

The Ministry of Education will prepare a PC-1 for a state-of-the-art teacher training center equipped with the latest facilities and meeting all public and private sector requirements for training purposes. However, a national evaluation system at the federal level to assess the results of the implementation of educational policies across the country was urgently needed.

The minister has ordered to make schools in the Islamabad Capital Territory a model for the rest of the country. The literacy rate in Islamabad will be increased up to one hundred percent. In this regard, DG FDE has been tasked with providing the missing infrastructure, particularly for girls’ schools. The teacher recruitment process, particularly in rural areas, has been accelerated.
