The Ministry of Education, Human Resource Planning, Vocational Training and National Excellence is reviewing positions within the education system.

“Early childhood teachers specialize in learning about the developmental, social and physical needs of young children. Teaching dynamics are different and require more individual attention. The Minister of Education added that eight new childcare facilities have been opened following the rehabilitation of the primary school to which they belong.

Three early childhood educators were assigned to selected learning institutions.

The United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund is helping the Ministry develop a comprehensive early childhood education policy that will guide the functioning of this sector.
