During a press conference on Monday, the CEO of the Scientific Excellence Award and Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Shared Services Affairs, Ali Abdullah al-Buainain, reviewed the objectives of the award and its categories, including including participation and the prerequisites for submitting applications, starting today, and receiving applications electronically. It highlighted the successes of its previous editions, including upgrade changes to its criteria for different categories, phases of the 16th edition’s events, including the winners’ tribute ceremony to be held in March. He added that among these activities, a special prize exhibition will be held from February 1 to March 10, 2023, noting that a change has been made to some criteria, including the categories of primary and secondary schools, and the excellent school, where some criteria have been carefully studied and updated, in addition to making some changes to some of them.
Speaking to QNA, Ali Abdullah al-Buainain said that the organizing committee will organize a training workshop, where the presidents of the ad hoc committees will make presentations today and tomorrow, combined with explanations for each category which will be presented by the chairman of the committee.
